Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
The Registered Nurse assesses residents’ needs, develops individualized care plans, administers and evaluates nursing care, and supervises nursing assistants and other personnel providing care in a skilled nursing facility. Supervision and care delivery must comply with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the Director of Nursing Services or designee, to maintain the highest degree of quality care. The RN follows health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice set by the community’s administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures. The employer also offers visa sponsorship to qualified international registered nurses, covering legal and filing fees.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate software programs, including electronic health record software.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ needs.
- Develop individualized care plans.
- Administer nursing care and evaluate its effectiveness.
- Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
- Ensure care and supervision comply with applicable standards, guidelines, regulations, and direction from the Director of Nursing Services or designee.
- Follow health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice.
