Registered Nurse, Day Stay, Baptist Downtown
About The Position
Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Day Stay Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full time position. As an RN in the Day Stay Unit, you will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services. This includes patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. You will also be responsible for the coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case. This is a fast paced peri-operative unit, specializing in PreOp and Phase 2 recovery. Patient volume can be 50-60 cases/day.
Requirements
- 2-3 years Surgical Services Nursing Experience Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Associate of Science, Nursing
