About The Position
Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Main OR Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time evenings, 11:00 AM-11:00 PM position with a call requirement which is self-scheduled based on the department needs and will require a 40-minute call response time. As a Registered Nurse for the Main OR, you will be responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition. You will embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement, educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care, and interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital. You will also coordinate care provided by ancillary services, act as the patient advocate, and participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Operating Room Circulating Nursing Experience Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Associate of Science, Nursing
Responsibilities
