About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a full-time day shift opportunity. This role requires participation in on-call rotation with a 40-minute response time and qualifies for competitive call and differential pay. Requirements

• 2–3 years Surgical Services Experience
• Operating Room experience
• Hospital experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing
• Licensed Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

• Charge Nurse or leadership experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care using the nursing process
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise patient care
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Include patients and families in developing individualized plans of care
• Coordinate and prepare assigned operating room cases
• Assess patient care needs and anticipate procedural requirements
• Maintain patient safety and ensure accurate documentation throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
