About The Position

This role involves providing for patient needs through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation), aligning with the organization's mission. It includes supervising care provided by support staff and coordinating with ancillary services. The position also involves educating patients and their families about their condition and care plan. Specific responsibilities include coordinating and preparing the assigned room/case, assessing patient care needs, and anticipating the needs of the case. This position requires being on call. Performance standards for ORRNs will be utilized for Operating Room roles, and RN performance standards for ICU RNs.
