About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The position may include other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses. The RN works under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. The role is listed as PRN nights at Humble Rehab.

Requirements

Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Current BLS certification is required.
Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
