About The Position
Maple Dell Health and Rehab is seeking nurses to join its team at its Payson, Utah facility. This position delivers care to a group of residents in a nursing unit by assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel involved in nursing care. Shift differentials are paid for NOC and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered, active Utah license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Clinical assessment skills sufficient to meet the job requirements.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Decision-making and analytical skills.
- Ability to relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
- Positive attitude and desire to work with the aging population.
Responsibilities
