About The Position

Maple Dell Health and Rehabilitation is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide high-level care to residents and support their wellness, comfort, and safety. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Current Food Handler Permit when applicable.
Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
Clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to engage and relate positively to residents and their families.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Energetic, positive, professional, and reliable.
An active Utah CNA certificate is listed under Position Requirements; the qualifications section also specifies a CNA certification in good standing with the state as preferred.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or assisted living facility (ALF); preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide kind and compassionate care to residents.
Answer residents’ call lights and determine their needs.
Turn and reposition residents in bed.
Provide physical support with activities of daily living, including getting in and out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, and exercising.
Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate meals.
Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
Report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
