About The Position

Sunterra Springs in Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to residents in a nursing unit. The role includes assessing residents’ needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants and other personnel involved in care delivery. Requirements

• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Missouri.
• Clinical assessment skills sufficient to meet the job requirements.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Decision-making and analytical skills.
• Ability to relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
• Positive attitude and desire to work with the aging population.

Responsibilities
