About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU provides skilled, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients with complex and high-acuity needs. The nurse assesses patient conditions, responds to changes in clinical status, administers medications and treatments according to the plan of care, and collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. The role also involves educating and supporting patients and families. The ICU team values collaboration, open communication, and mutual support in delivering patient care. This is a full-time night position at Saint Mary's Regional Health System.

Requirements

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Active Arkansas or compact-state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence before employment begins.
• Associate's degree required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of previous experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
