Registered Nurse, RN, Labor & Delivery, Per Diem
About The Position
FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, providing short- and long-term assignments throughout its health system. Registered Nurses may work across a hospital, multiple hospital locations, or regions, with nationwide and regional opportunities. The position offers flexible scheduling and a variety of practice settings. This per diem Labor & Delivery role is based at St. Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, with ongoing assignments, PRN hours, a night shift, and an hourly rate of $55. The nurse applies the standard elements of professional practice: assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse practices independently and appropriately within their license, knowledge, and experience; remains accountable for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes; collaborates with stakeholders on quality and improvement; and adapts to new responsibilities, ideas, cultural differences, and competing priorities.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
- At least two years of recent clinical experience for specialties other than Med Surg, Tele, and PCU, including Maternal Services.
- Maintain credentials required for the specialty area.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
