About The Position

Nurses provide holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients in a residential setting, with a focus on adolescent clients with eating disorders. The role supports individualized, evidence-based care and lasting recovery.

This is a full-time, 0.8 FTE position (32 hours per week). Evening shifts are 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.; overnight shifts are 12:00 a.m.–8:30 a.m. The schedule includes every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Starting hourly pay is $37.00–$42.00, with the final offer based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days from the date of hire.
• Experience or a strong desire to work in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns.
• Manage medications, including providing education, assessing adherence, administering medications in the residential setting, and monitoring side effects in collaboration with a provider.
• Assist and support medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination.
• Recognize and appropriately respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the client medical record.
