About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to a nursing unit, using the nursing process. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care. This includes interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, teaching patients and families about post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The RN may also perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as a Charge Nurse when appropriately certified. The position is listed as full-time days at Heritage Valley Specialty. Requirements

Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Current BLS certification is required.
Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
