About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides appropriate nursing care on a nursing unit as directed by a registered nurse. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The LVN also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services across its locations, wound clinics, and outpatient physical therapy locations. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
