About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers, directs, and supervises care for patients admitted to the nursing unit, using the nursing process and working under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties when appropriately certified. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services across more than 80 locations, wound clinics, and outpatient physical therapy locations in 17 states. Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
