About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) uses critical thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality patient care. The nurse applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This is a full-time evening position.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
• Previous PACU or critical care experience required.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide safe, quality care to patients.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
