About The Position
Franciscan Health Crown Point is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, and implementing, reassessing, and evaluating those plans. The role offers a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment, with patient ratios based on acuity. This opening is for a 0.7 FTE schedule consisting of three days one week and four days the next. Start times vary according to cases, between 5:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. Call is required, with a 30-minute response requirement, including holidays and weekends. The position includes alternating weekends and holidays. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Experience in ICU, Emergency, PERIOP, and Recovery Pre-Post Op.
- Ability to meet the 30-minute call response requirement.
- Availability for alternating weekends and holidays.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
