About The Position

Responsible and accountable for providing and directing individualized care for patients from infant to geriatric based on established standards of nursing practice. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using clinical knowledge and skills. The Registered Nurse also manages assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the surgical setting while promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel in other departments.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current nursing license to practice in Virginia.
• Must obtain BLS certification upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of PACU or critical care experience is highly preferred.
