Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery Pre-Admit, Pre-Op/Hold
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides safe, cost-effective patient care throughout the health experience in accordance with established standards and the nursing process, and within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing. This role is in the Surgery Pre-Admit, Pre-Op/Hold department at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center in Long Beach, California. The position is full-time, with a variable shift listed as 12pm–1400 (8 hours). The pay range is $50.74–$77.79; placement within the range depends on factors including relevant experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification.
- Holiday call is required.
Nice To Haves
- Nursing experience in Pre-Admit, Pre-Op/Hold, Telemetry, Med/Surg, or Recovery in an acute care hospital is described as ideal.
- EKG experience is a plus.
