About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Baptist Medical Center Portland Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Staff Registered Nurse manages and delivers patient care using the nursing process, including assessment and reassessment, development and implementation of a plan of care, and evaluation of care interventions. The role may require floating to other units and participating in on-call status. Population-specific competencies are required, and the nurse must adhere to applicable National Patient Safety Goals. The nurse supervises and coordinates licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing patient care as assigned, and provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students as appropriate. The position reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 may be available. Requirements

Current Registered Nurse licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. For hospice only, current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association is required instead of BLS.
Population-specific competencies and other certifications and competencies required for the service-line skill.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
Assess and reassess patients.
Develop plans of care.
Implement appropriate patient care interventions.
Evaluate patient care interventions.
Document patient care.
Supervise and coordinate licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing care to patients as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Adhere to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
Float to other units and participate in on-call status if required.
