About The Position
ComForCare Home Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate part-time Registered Nurse to provide clinical oversight and support home care clients, families, and caregivers in West Linn, Oregon. The role includes conducting client assessments, developing care plans, and helping caregivers succeed. It offers independence, flexible daytime scheduling, and meaningful relationships with clients, families, and caregivers. The position is guided by a relationship-centered approach that emphasizes dignity, respect, and attentive care. The RN is expected to support caregivers and staff in their personal and professional growth while delivering sound clinical judgment and compassionate nursing care.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Oregon RN license.
- Knowledge of Oregon in-home care regulations and nursing delegation.
- Strong assessment, teaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with compassion and sound clinical judgment.
Nice To Haves
- Home care, home health, hospice, or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments.
- Develop and review individualized care plans.
- Provide clinical oversight in accordance with Oregon regulations.
- Train, mentor, and support caregivers.
- Oversee medication-related services and nursing delegation when appropriate.
- Collaborate with families and the care team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
