Registered Nurse - NICU
About The Position
Registered Nurse position in a Level III NICU at an acute care hospital with approximately 190 births per month. The role may involve floating to Mother-Baby (MB) to care for babies; nurses with couplet-care experience may float to the full unit. No on-call requirement is stated. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. Scheduling options include three 12-hour shifts or four 12-hour shifts. Weekend work is every other weekend and may exceed that to accommodate unit needs. Scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be considered. All requested time off must be included at submission, and approval depends on facility needs. Block scheduling is not accommodated. Shift differential is added after shifts are worked.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty.
- Required certifications: BCLS, NRP, and PALS.
- Local candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius; contact the account manager regarding local rates.
- Scrub color for RNs is navy blue.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Level III NICU.
