About The Position

The Registered Nurse will work on Hauenstein 2, a 16-bed, multi-specialty step-down unit caring for medical-surgical, oncology, trauma, and sepsis patients. The unit provides higher-level monitoring and clinical support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Nurses perform advanced assessments and monitoring, develop clinical expertise and decision-making skills, and work with an experienced team to support patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

This is a full-time night-shift role working three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every-third-weekend rotation.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Must be licensed in the State of Michigan.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required at hire or within six months.
• Experience as a registered nurse is required.
• For Grand Rapids applicants with an ADN: enroll in a BSN program within six months of hire and complete it within four years of hire.
