About The Position
Park Crescent Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time RN Supervisor to provide nursing leadership on the 11 p.m.–7 a.m. shift every other weekend. The RN Supervisor will lead and supervise nursing staff, coordinate patient care with the healthcare team, maintain compliance with policies and protocols, and support patient safety and quality of care. The role also involves communicating with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members; supporting patients and their families; and managing new admissions in collaboration with doctors on care plans.
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey RN license.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, including assigning duties.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Monitor and maintain patient safety and quality of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, doctors, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide support to patients and their families.
- Manage new admissions and collaborate with doctors on plans of care.
