About The Position
Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in the Emergency Services department. This is a PRN/Contingent position with variable hours. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
- Active State of Ohio Registered Nurse Nursing License.
- 1 Year of RN experience in an Emergency Room.
- CPR - approved by the American Heart Association.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS (within 6 months of hire) - approved by the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Emergency Certification (within 6 months of hire) - PALS approved by the American Heart Association or ENPC approved by the Emergency Nurses Association.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
- Adhere to safety standards for patients and employees.
- Participate in hospital-provided training, including AVADE.
- Maintain basic computer skills.
