About The Position
Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our friendly, hard-working team for the Emergency Services department on a PRN/Contingent basis with variable hours. We are a full-service critical access hospital located in the heart of Hocking Hills, Logan, Ohio, dedicated to providing exceptional care close to home with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
- Active State of Ohio Registered Nurse Nursing License.
- 1 Year of RN experience in an Emergency Room.
- CPR - approved by the American Heart Association.
- Basic computer skills.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS (within 6 months of hire) - approved by the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Emergency Certification (within 6 months of hire) - PALS approved by the American Heart Association or ENPC approved by the Emergency Nurses Association.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the Emergency Department.
- Utilize basic computer skills.
- Participate in hospital-provided training such as AVADE training.
- Obtain required certifications (ACLS, Pediatric Emergency Certification) within specified timeframes.
