About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a RN Unit Coordinator for the Burn Trauma, Intermediate Care - Medical/Surgical Unit! This role demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager, the RN Unit Coordinator leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. The goal is to increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent customer service.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required) or MSN (preferred)
Registered nursing License (Required)
BLS required within 90 days of hire
18 months of relevant nursing experience required
