Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator - Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
About The Position
Sentara is hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator at Norfolk General Hospital, in Norfolk Virginia. This is a Full Time, Weekend Day Shift position. The unit is a 16-bed IMC mixed unit that provides highly skilled care to a variety of patients. The role demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager, the coordinator leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. The goal is to increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent customer service.
Requirements
- BSN Degree REQUIRED
- Virginia RN License REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90-days of hire
- 18-months experience REQUIRED
