About The Position

Requirements

Active Licensed KS Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Associate degree in nursing
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting
Ability to work in a fast-paced med-surg/telemetry environment and float to related units as needed
Credentialing readiness: CBC, DS, and required lab work completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
Shift availability: 12-hour night shifts; every other weekend and two major holidays per unit needs

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a general med-surg/telemetry unit, including monitoring of cardiovascular status.
Interpret telemetry and respond to rhythm abnormalities and alarms promptly.
Administer medications and perform IV therapy and routine procedures per physician orders.
Collaborate with the care team (physicians, RNs, techs) to develop and implement care plans; document in the electronic medical record.
Maintain patient safety, including fall prevention and accurate patient assessments.
Float to adjacent units as needed to support patient care demands and unit needs.
