About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit within an acute care setting in Saint Louis, Missouri. The assignment is for several weeks, starting on 10/05/2026, with a shift of 3x12 Nights. The role involves monitoring adult patients, interpreting dysrhythmias, administering medications, maintaining IV lines, and collaborating with the healthcare team for care coordination and discharge planning. Charting is done in EPIC, and adherence to isolation precautions and PPE usage is required. The nurse will also support unit operations with telemetry-related tasks and operate within PCU protocols.

Requirements

Active RN license in MO or IL; IL license must be in hand at submittal; MO may submit without license (compact required for issuance)
Minimum 2 years RN experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition; ability to perform peripheral line care
Ability to work Nights in a Telemetry/PCU setting; pass fit test (no facial hair that prevents testing)
Pre-start requirements include labs and completion of required modules prior to start

Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry for adult patients and interpret dysrhythmias; respond to alarms promptly
Administer medications per physician orders, including cardiac meds as appropriate
Maintain peripheral intravenous lines and provide basic nursing care within scope
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; assist with care coordination and patient discharge planning
Adhere to isolation precautions and use appropriate PPE; maintain charting in EPIC
Support unit operations with telemetry-related tasks and operate within PCU protocols
