This full-time day shift opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Weaver 7 Surgical Oncology Progressive Care team at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. In collaboration with MD Anderson, they are rated the nation's top provider in cancer care, focusing on transforming lives for patients and their families. The Weaver 7 team has received the Daisy Team Award and achieved a 100% response rate with a HIGH ranking on the 2025 Press Ganey Employee Engagement Survey for the third time. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide care to patients requiring treatment for any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses. You will embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement, educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care, interact with physicians and other hospital departments, and serve as a patient advocate. Participation in staff meetings and other unit activities is also expected. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse interested in working with a higher acuity post-surgical patient population within a team that has strong physician partnerships.
Requirements
- 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
- Hospital Experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (American Heart Association)
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred
