About The Position

The Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery clinic at Morehead Medical Plaza is a specialized ambulatory practice within Atrium Health. This multidisciplinary team provides advanced care for patients with complex conditions involving the liver, pancreas, bile ducts, and gallbladder. As one of the largest HPB programs in the country, surgeons utilize leading-edge surgical techniques and technologies to manage highly complex cases. The team collaborates closely with specialists across oncology, gastroenterology, therapeutic endoscopy, interventional radiology, and hepatology to deliver coordinated, expert care. This is an outpatient ambulatory clinic, providing ongoing management and support for patients with HPB conditions.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
  • Current certification in BLS required
  • BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
  • BLS required per policy guidelines.
  • Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership and ambulatory experience preferred
  • Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
