About The Position
This position is for a triage nurse at the Jan and Ed Brown Center for Pulmonary Medicine, which offers state-of-the-art pulmonary medicine care for patients of all ages. The center provides comprehensive services including diagnosis and treatment of various lung conditions, same-day sick visits, chronic disease management, and specialized programs such as cystic fibrosis, interventional pulmonology, pulmonary function testing, asthma treating injections, and appointments with a Pharmacist for education and maintenance. The triage nurse is a key component to many of these services.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Previous pulmonary experience preferred
- BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as a triage nurse, a key component to many of the services offered at the Jan and Ed Brown Center for Pulmonary Medicine.
- Provide comprehensive care in an ambulatory nursing setting.
- Potentially work remotely with some possibility.
- Travel to Main one day a week as expected.
