The Registered Nurse Supervisor will plan and supervise safe, efficient, and economical nursing care in compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies and procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. This role involves assessing the delivery of patient care, assisting with patient/family teaching, identifying problems, and making improvements as necessary. The supervisor will also assess nursing care needs by making patient or unit/departmental rounds, participate in providing patient care as needed, assist in emergencies, and oversee the care of grieving families and the disposition of deceased patients.
