About The Position

Plans and supervises safe, efficient, and economical nursing care in compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies and procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Assesses delivery of patient care, helps with patient/family teaching, identifies problems, and makes improvements as necessary. Assesses nursing care needs by making patient rounds, or unit/departmental rounds. Participates in providing patient care as necessary and assists in emergencies. Assists in the care of grieving families; oversees the disposition of patients who have died.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Three years clinical experience with demonstrated clinical expertise and management abilities
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• Oncology experience preferred.
• Proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow, spinals, thoracenteses, paracenteses and phlebotomy preferred.
• Oncology certification preferred.
