About The Position

Walnut Creek Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead its nursing professionals on weekends at a 115-bed skilled nursing facility in Erie, Pennsylvania. The supervisor oversees resident care and nursing operations, ensures care standards are met, and guides the team toward positive resident outcomes. The position is a full-time weekend Baylor role with a night shift from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.; employees work two 12-hour shifts and receive a six-hour bonus.

Requirements

Current Pennsylvania RN license.
At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse; long-term care experience is preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas simply.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to stay current with industry developments and best practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee weekend day-to-day operations of the nursing department and ensure residents receive exceptional care and support.
Lead and guide the nursing team, fostering collaboration, respect, and open communication.
Conduct nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to promote resident outcomes.
Collaborate with therapy, dietary, social services, and other departments to coordinate comprehensive care.
Monitor and report resident outcomes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
