About The Position

The Service Line Educator for Infusion Services provides strategic leadership for clinical education and professional development across all outpatient oncology infusion centers within the Greater Charlotte market. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining standardized education, competency validation, and evidence-based clinical practice to ensure safe, high-quality, and consistent patient care across all oncology infusion locations.

Requirements

  • Master's in nursing, Nursing Education or Health Care Administration required. Candidates for external hire or internal promotion without Master's degree must be enrolled in the appropriate Master's program upon hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience in Oncology as a RN in practice area required
  • Chemo/bio certification will also be required within 3 months of hire
  • ONS certification required within 2 years of hire
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or, if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of teaching experience preferred
  • Life Support Instructor Certification may be required based on the needs of the patient population served
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum and program development, program evaluation experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Standardizing infusion workflows and nursing practices
  • Leading onboarding and orientation for infusion nursing teammates
  • Coordinating ongoing competency assessments
  • Supporting implementation of new therapies, medications, technologies, and clinical protocols
  • Facilitating regulatory and accreditation readiness
  • Partnering with nursing, pharmacy, medical, operational and nursing leadership
  • Identifying educational needs and performance improvement opportunities
  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning, clinical excellence, and high reliability
