Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU/ICU -Day shift
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages patient care across the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner. The RN demonstrates performance consistent with professional standards of practice and care, the Nurse Practice Act, and Community Health Network’s mission and goals. The role requires collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource-management skills. The RN works in a fast-paced environment as part of a collaborative team in an 18-bed unit caring for a complex patient population, including neuro, stroke, and ICU-level patients who are not on ventilators.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing school accredited by NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA, or have three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice and care and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources.
