1:1 Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for adult and/or pediatric care to join its Passaic County skilled nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality private duty nursing to clients in their homes, with one-on-one care for clients ranging from infants to older adults and with a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. Nurses travel to a single nearby client home and can choose a schedule based on their availability. Traditional shift options include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling and no minimums. The RN follows and carries out doctors’ orders, performs assessments, monitors client conditions, and documents observations, interventions, and evaluations. BAYADA provides paid training in the office, in the home, and online; practice in adult and pediatric simulation labs; and round-the-clock clinical support by phone. Electronic charting is done using Statewise. The listed pay is $36.00–$40.00 per hour. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 and a $1,200 nurse referral bonus are offered. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
- Have at least 5 months of RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide one-on-one private duty nursing care to clients.
