About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for adult and/or pediatric care to join its Passaic County skilled nursing team. The role provides one-on-one private duty nursing in a client’s home, with flexible scheduling based on the nurse’s availability and traditional shift options of 8, 10, or 12 hours. Clients range in age from infants to geriatric patients and may have varying diagnoses and acuity levels.

Nurses receive paid training in the office, in the home, and online, practice opportunities in adult and pediatric simulation labs, and around-the-clock clinical support by phone. Electronic charting is completed using Statewise. Compensation is $36.00–$40.00 per hour. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is offered.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• At least 5 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
