About The Position
This position provides professional nursing care through the nursing process. The Registered Nurse meets the needs of patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation, and complies with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program at an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date in a nursing position. BSN or MSN graduates are preferred.
- Current licensure with the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as required by law.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- American Heart Association ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
- Dysrhythmia course required within three months of hire.
- Complete eight continuing education credits in stroke annually.
Nice To Haves

- National certification in the area of specialty.
