About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for a Registered Nurse (RN) working full-time night shifts. The position offers a pay rate of $60 per hour and is a local opportunity. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and accessing community resources. There is a possibility of performing other duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (ACLS certification required for this).

Requirements

Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
Current BLS certification is required.
Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
