Registered Nurse (RN) - $5,000 Sign-On Bonus!
About The Position
Christian Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to work at Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health Hospital (RRBH) and Haven. The RN is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team and leads the development of individualized treatment plans centered on patients and families. The role supports adults receiving inpatient psychiatric care, including patients in RRBH’s general adult and geriatric divisions and women receiving trauma-informed services at Haven. The therapeutic program includes group offerings, medication therapies, individual therapy, psychoeducation, art and music therapy, movement groups, and family support. RNs may also serve as nurse preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors to nursing students. The RN is expected to understand and embrace Christian Health’s mission and comply with its ASPIRE Standards of Performance. RRBH is a 58-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital licensed by the State of New Jersey and accredited by The Joint Commission. Haven provides inpatient trauma-informed care for women in a safe and secure setting. Christian Health describes its work environment as supportive, mission-driven, collaborative, and focused on teamwork and professional growth. The campus is located on 78 acres with walking trails, and the behavioral health facilities are newly renovated. This is a full-time schedule of 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with every other weekend required. The hourly pay range is $40.00–$48.00, with a $4.30 shift differential, a $2.00 weekend differential, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. New graduate nurses are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
- Lead the interdisciplinary team in developing individualized treatment plans that meet patients’ needs and goals.
- Participate in patient-centered care for adults receiving inpatient psychiatric and trauma-informed behavioral health services.
- Contribute to therapeutic care that includes medication therapies, individual therapy, psychoeducation, group offerings, art and music therapy, movement groups, and family support.
- May serve as a nurse preceptor, charge nurse, or mentor to nursing students.
- Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to Christian Health’s mission.
