Registered Nurse (RN) | 36 hours per week | Medical Care Unit
About The Position
The Registered Nurse delivers patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. The nurse interacts effectively with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Care is provided to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric patient populations. The position requires floating to other departments to meet operational needs. The schedule is 36 hours per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including every other weekend. Minimum hiring wage starts at $36.50 per hour. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at minimum, or currently in the last semester of the program.
- Maintain valid licensure, certification, or registration.
- Be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa, or currently in the last semester of school.
Responsibilities
