About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in coordination with other health team members. The role involves interacting effectively with patients, their significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. The nurse provides care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric patient populations and is required to float to other departments to meet staffing needs.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at minimum, or currently in the last semester of the program.
Maintain valid licensure, certification, or registration.
Hold an Iowa Registered Nurse license, or be currently in the last semester of school.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
Coordinate care with other health team members.
Interact effectively with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Provide care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric patient populations.
Float to other departments to meet needs.
