Registered Nurse (RN) – CVICU
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in the 16-bed Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) at Atrium Health Pineville, providing specialized care for patients with cardiovascular conditions and following cardiac procedures. The unit cares for patients after CABG and valve procedures and those with advanced heart failure, STEMI, and other complex needs. Care may involve Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella, IABP, extended therapy dialysis with Tablo, EKOS, post-Inari care, and ECMO cannulation. The RN provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role applies evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while helping create a safe patient environment and a positive patient experience across the continuum. This is a full-time position scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts per week, with holiday and weekend rotation. The listed pay range is $38.20–$57.30.
