Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU PT
About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Atrium Health Cleveland PACU provides care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The PACU is part of a Level III trauma center with seven operating rooms and 24/7 surgical capability, handling approximately 420 surgeries each month across general surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, EENT, dental, and robotic procedures. The department offers a family-unit culture, opportunities to grow and advance, variable schedules, and limited call. The RN provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills, the nurse helps create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum of care. This is a part-time position scheduled for 24 hours per week: two 12-hour weekday shifts, either 10:30 a.m.–11 p.m. or 7:30 a.m.–8 p.m., with some call.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- An active Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

- Previous Operating Room experience is strongly preferred.
