About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a supportive and homelike environment. Our facility provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and a secure dementia unit. Located in Ashland, WI, on the scenic Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior, our 72-bed facility typically accommodates 60-65 residents. We pride ourselves on our historical ambiance and commitment to quality care. Our community offers an array of outdoor activities, restaurants, and shopping experiences.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in nursing homes or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents with varying needs, including short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents’ health status and respond to changes appropriately.
• Supervise and support nursing staff and certified nursing assistants (CNA).
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
