Registered Nurse (RN) - HVIS Prep & Hold
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in the HVIS Preparation & Holding Unit, a 36-bed area preparing and caring for recovery of inpatient and outpatient individuals undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, and Vascular/Neuro Interventional Radiology Labs. The unit also supports elective cardioversions. Recovery care includes patients who have received moderate sedation, general anesthesia, or monitored anesthesia care. The role is part of a collaborative environment focused on high-quality, compassionate care. The successful candidate will also be cross-trained in the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab. This is a full-time position totaling 72 hours per pay period. Shifts rotate among 8-, 10-, and 12-hour schedules, with a Saturday weekend rotation; the unit is closed on Sundays. The position is based in Newark, Delaware.
Requirements
- BSN required, or commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of the date of hire.
- BLS certification required.
- One year of cardiac or critical care experience as a Registered Nurse required.
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware required.

- ACLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
