About The Position
InterHealth Staffing, the for-profit staffing division of Tampa General Hospital, offers flexible clinical opportunities, including permanent float positions and 13–26-week contract assignments. Contract roles emphasize potential conversion to permanent employment, and extensions may be available based on business needs and mutual interest. Nurses work in a complex healthcare environment serving the community and delivering compassionate care. Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager or designee, and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, the Registered Nurse delivers care to patients across the lifespan, from neonatal through geriatric. The nurse provides professional nursing care in areas covered by the Specialty Staffing Team within the assigned clinical division and performs duties in accordance with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- BSN required.
- ACLS required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg/Tele or ED required.
Nice To Haves
- National Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients from neonatal through geriatric.
- Plan and implement nursing care.
- Document nursing assessments.
- Identify and report situations requiring further intervention.
- Formulate and communicate a goal-directed plan of care.
- Assure patient rights.
- Provide professional nursing care in areas covered by the Specialty Staffing Team within the assigned clinical division.

Benefits
- Competitive contract pay: $47.75 per hour, plus a 19% night shift differential, listed as $56.82 per hour.
